Give me a break! A state legislator in Florida wants to ban the term “alien” when discussing illegal immigrants. Apparently, this PC-nut gone wrong finds the term offensive. She would prefer taking out the illegal part as well, calling them instead, “undocumented immigrants”. Good grief…..how about spending time dealing with the problem instead of being offended at something so idiotic!
Get a life! I suppose we should carry this on to other criminals as well. “Murderer” too offensive? How about “life reduction specialist”? Don’t like the sound of “rapist”? How about we call them, “forced fornication engineers”?
I am so SICK and TIRED of everyone crying and whining about being offended at this or that and at people saying, “You can’t say that, it’s not PC!” or trying to ban certain words. Words should never be banned!
Changing illegal aliens to undocumented immigrants just goes along with the way society has decided to stop accepting any personal responsibility. Illegal alien implies a knowledge that their presence here is illegal. But if you say, “undocumented immigrant”, voila! Now it just sounds like they have no documentation, through no fault of their own!
Don’t we just feel all good and warm and fuzzy now?! Get a life people….if you think there are no better uses for your time, money and effort than to get people to stop saying something you find personally offensive, you need your head examined! Bunch of crybabies!

According to United Press International, some guy in a Toyota Corolla decided it would be a good idea to get some work done on his laptop as he drove to work.
End result: a multi-car accident in which he dies. Really makes me wonder if the guy behind me today was using his laptop or just reading, as I thought he was. I’m driving in to work this morning and can see that the guy behind me is glancing down every few seconds for about 10 seconds at a time. I suppose he’s reading the paper or something.
I don’t get it. How could you be so bored that you have to read on your way to work? Does dodging the idiots on the road not keep you busy enough? I have enough to keep my mind on dodging the people whipping across 3 lanes with no warning, the folks slamming on their brakes because they aren’t paying attention to the traffic ahead of them, the buffoons changing lanes every minute to try to avoid slowing down one mile per hour, the idiots trying to merge into my lane without looking, the morons slowing to 15 MPH under the speed limit because a state trooper is near.
How do you have time to read?!

Lawyers for Mary Winkler want to suppress material seized by police at the scene of her husband’s killing.

Little did I know when I bought this jar of Peter Pan peanut butter, I’d be getting a bonus inside! A case of salmonella free of charge!!!
Last week I thought I had a stomach bug…..I couldn’t keep anything down, had severe diarrhea, a fever, dehydration, abdominal pains and vomiting, but it turns out it was salmonella. I had just eaten from this jar of peanut butter the day before, and it has the product code in question. (See this article)
The unfortunate thing is that I didn’t realize until an hour ago that I had the bad peanut butter….I’ve been eating it all week again this week! ConAgra says send the lid back and you’ll get a refund, but it’s too much trouble for me to bother with it.
I just hope I don’t get sick again! Maybe I should sue! haha naaah
